French poster

Uploading the back side here 'cause I want to show the postal marking (besides, the message isn't personal at all, it's a Neil Gaiman quote)

Caernarfon Castle, Wales

Caernarfon Castle is a medieval building in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. In 1911, Caernarfon Castle was used for the investiture of the Prince of Wales, and again in 1969. It is part of the World Heritage Site "Castles and Town Walls of King Edward in Gwynedd".

Empty envelope

I received this through "Empty Envelope" tag on Postcrossing Official Forum. Maybe I misunderstood the idea of this tag, but I'm quite disappointed. Basically, the idea was to send empty envelopes, so you could keep them intact. So I jumped to the conclusion that it should be a ~special~ envelope, but there is nothing special about this one. What's the point in keeping it intact? I would've had no problems with tearing it open and maybe even throwing it away. So I didn't participate in this tag anymore.

Four studies of pink and yellow tulips and of a petal; two studies of German iris; star anemone

King Richard, late reigning mercifully over us, was piteously slain and murdered, to the great heaviness of this city...

Alnwick Castle

Alnwick Castle, situated on the banks of the river Aln was once considered the strongest fortress in England. Parts of the castle date back to the 11th Century.
