Empty envelope
I received this through "Empty Envelope" tag on Postcrossing Official Forum. Maybe I misunderstood the idea of this tag, but I'm quite disappointed. Basically, the idea was to send empty envelopes, so you could keep them intact. So I jumped to the conclusion that it should be a ~special~ envelope, but there is nothing special about this one. What's the point in keeping it intact? I would've had no problems with tearing it open and maybe even throwing it away. So I didn't participate in this tag anymore.

Yep, that's me again!
I haven't updated this blog for a year and now I have several hundreds o' postcards to upload. Those who are reading this blog, be warned for I shall probably spam the hell outta your read lists.

Nice envelope, and there are pretty cards in it!
This is a card from St. Petersburg. I've always said that out of all Russian cities St. Petersburg has the most awesome cards!
The lions of St. Petersburg.
This is a card from Peterhof, a small town near St. Petersburg (and under its jurisdiction). It's recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is one of my favourite cards. The sender doesn't know where and when it was printed, but it looks like an illustration from one of those fairy tale books I was reading as a child:)

Fandom joke
I've got two large boxes full of cards, the first one contains all the cards my friends sent me between 2007-2008 (mostly letters and two-fold cards which I decided not to post here), the second one is reserved for year 2009.
Here are two cards from the first box: self printed fandom cards from my bff (I must state here all bffs mentioned in this blog are different people. Yes, I have more than one bff).

Most of the cards I got before 2007 are missing.
